Senior Pastor Michael Gullatte

In the mid 90's Pastor Mike and his wife Latarsha became discontent with the segregation of the body of Christ on Sundays and Wednesday's in Cleveland County. They prayed several years for a multi-cultural ministry to come to the area that would minister to all people. Little did he know God was preparing him for such a ministry. He worked faithfully in the church where he had grown up from a child. He worked as youth leader, Sunday school teacher, deacon, and church treasurer. While in a ten-year banking career and furthering studies at UNC Chapel Hill on Franklin St. was his calling confirmed. He proceeded to minister to a woman whom appeared to be homeless; she spoke words of knowledge about things that were stirring in his spirit. He had only spoken with God about these things. Shortly after, Pastor Mike resigned from banking and founded Christ for the Nations Church.

CFN held its first service on March 3, 2002. The first service consisted of six people.
